Welcome to the website of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Nepal.
It is a pleasure to be able to address all of those who take a keen interest in Myanmar either because of a personal relationship with our country or for any other reason.
On 13 November 2025, I was honoured to present my Letter of Credence to the Right Honourable President Mr. Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal, as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Nepal.
Myanmar and Nepal formally established diplomatic relations on 19 March 1960, now spanning more than six decades of partnership. Our two countries have a long-lasting close friendship and mutual understanding, which are evidenced by people of both countries. The two countries, though geographically separated, share deep-rooted values in promoting global peace, cultural exchange, and sustainable development. The Embassy of Myanmar in Nepal is committed to working tirelessly towards further strengthening these significant goals.
