My name is Myo Myint Maung. I arrived in Nepal on 19 August 2024. It is my great honour and privilege to be able to work with all of you as the Ambassador of Myanmar to Nepal, which is the birthplace of Lord Buddha and the heart of Himalayan mountain ranges.

Myanmar and Nepal established diplomatic relations in 1960. Before establishment of official diplomatic relations, we have friendly relations between the peoples of Myanmar and Nepal.

During my tenure in Nepal, I am committed to further strengthening our diplomatic relations, as well as fostering economic and social collaboration between our two countries.
