The Waso (Vassa) Robe Offering Ceremony was held at the Myanmar Embassy in Kathmandu on 23 July 2026 at 1030 hrs. Venerable Sayadaw Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja Bhaddanta Sujana Piya, Myanmar residing monk of Ratna Vipassana Vihar Buddhist monastery in Kathmandu, Venerable Sayadaws Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja Bhaddanta Sujanita and Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja Bhaddanta Pandita, residing at the Myanmar Golden Temple, Lumbini and Venerable Sayadaw Bhaddanta Panyasiri, residing monk of International Buddhist Meditation Center in Kathmandu graced the ceremony.
The ceremony was commenced with the three times recitation of Namotasa. At the ceremony, the Ambassador and Embassy staff observed the Five Precepts administered by Venerable Sayadaw Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja Baddanta Sujanita and Sayadaw delivered a sermon to the congregation. Ambassador U Thant Sin and Embassy staff respectfully offered Waso (Vassa) Robes to the Venerable monks. Following the robe offering, the Ambassador and Embassy staff offered alms bowl and donated other offertories to the Sayadaws. The ceremony was concluded after sharing the merits gained.

မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့၌ ဝါဆိုသင်္ကန်းဆက်ကပ်လှူဒါန်းပွဲအခမ်းအနား ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ခြင်း

နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးသန့်စင် နှင့် သံရုံးဝန်ထမ်းများ၏ ဝါဆိုသင်္ကန်းဆက် ကပ်လှူခြင်းအခမ်းအနားကို ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇူလိုင်လ ၂၃ ရက်နေ့ ၁၀၃၀ နာရီတွင် မြန်မာသံရုံး၌ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အခမ်းအနားသို့ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့ရှိ ရတနာဝိပဿနာကျောင်းတိုက် ကျောင်းထိုင်ဆရာတော် အဂ္ဂမဟာသဒ္ဓမ္မဇောတိကဓဇ ဘဒ္ဒန္တသုဇနပ္ပိယ၊ လုမ္ဗိနီမြို့ မြန်မာ ရွှေကျောင်းတော်ကြီး၏ ကျောင်းထိုင်ဆရာတော် အဂ္ဂမဟာသဒ္ဓမ္မဇောတိကဓဇ ဘဒ္ဒန္တသုဇနိတ၊ မဟာသဒ္ဓမ္မဇောတိကဓဇ ဘဒ္ဒန္တပဏ္ဍိတ နှင့် International Buddhist Meditation Center (IBMC) မှ ကျောင်းထိုင်ဆရာတော် ဘဒ္ဒန္တပညာသီရိ တို့ ကြွရောက်ချီးမြှင့်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
အခမ်းအနားကို နမောတဿသုံးကြိမ်ရွတ်ဆို၍ ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ပြီး ဆရာတော် အဂ္ဂမဟာသဒ္ဓမ္မ ဇောတိကဓဇ ဘဒ္ဒန္တသုဇနိတ ထံမှ ငါးပါးသီလခံယူဆောက်တည်၍ အနုမောဒနာတရားနာယူကြ ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးသန့်စင်နှင့် သံရုံး ဝန်ထမ်းများက ဆရာတော်များထံ ဝါဆိုသင်္ကန်းများ ဆက်ကပ်လှူုဒါန်းခဲ့ကာ ဆရာတော်များအား နေ့ဆွမ်းနှင့် လှူဖွယ်ဝတ္ထုများ ဆက်ကပ်လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ပြီး လှူဒါန်းမှုအစုစုတို့အတွက် ရေစက်သွန်းချအမျှပေးဝေခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရှိ ရပါသည်။
