At the invitation of the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers, H.E. U Thant Sin, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Nepal, attended the regular weekly meeting of the Club as the Guest Speaker at 0800 hours on 9 September 2026 at Hotel Tibet in Kathmandu.
During the meeting, the Ambassador delivered remarks on recent developments in Myanmar and bilateral relations between Myanmar and Nepal. Furthermore, the Ambassador cordially discussed with President and members of the Club on the enhancement of cooperation in the political, economic and cultural relations between Myanmar and Nepal, the invitation for golf enthusiasts from Myanmar to Nepal, as well as the possibility of sending a volunteer medical team from Nepal to Myanmar to provide eye care treatments.

နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးသန့်စင် သည် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ စက်တင်ဘာလ ၉ ရက်နေ့၊ ၀၈၀၀ နာရီတွင် ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့ရှိ Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers မှ ဖိတ်ကြားချက်အရ Hotel Tibet ၌ ပြုလုပ်သည့် Club ၏ အပတ်စဉ်ပုံမှန်အစည်းအဝေးသို့ အထူးဧည့်သည်တော် အနေဖြင့် တက်ရောက်၍ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ လက်ရှိဖြစ်ပေါ်တိုးတက်မှုအခြေအနေများနှင့် မြန်မာ-နီပေါ နှစ်နိုင်ငံဆက်ဆံရေးနှင့် စပ်လျဉ်း၍ မိန့်ခွန်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင် Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers မှ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌနှင့် အဖွဲ့ဝင်များနှင့်တွေ့ဆုံကာ မြန်မာ-နီပေါ နှစ်နိုင်ငံအကြား နိုင်ငံရေး၊ စီးပွားရေးနှင့် ယဉ်ကျေးမှု ဆက်ဆံရေး ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုတိုးမြှင့်ရေးကိစ္စ၊ မြန်မာ နိုင်ငံမှ ဂေါက်သီးရိုက်ဝါသနာရှင်များအား နီပေါနိုင်ငံသို့ ဖိတ်ခေါ်ခြင်းကိစ္စနှင့် မျက်စိကုသပေးမည့် စေတနာ့ဝန်ထမ်းအဖွဲ့တစ်ဖွဲ့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ စေလွှတ်နိုင်ရေးကိစ္စတို့နှင့်စပ်လျဉ်း၍ ရင်းနှီးပွင့်လင်း စွာ ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။
