H.E. U Thant Sin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received Mr. Kim Tae Wan, Chief Executive Officer and delegation of SUNSHINE YANGON Company Limited at Myanmar Embassy on 17 June 2026 at 1030 hrs.
During the meeting, Mr. Kim Tae Wan briefed the company’s profile and its ongoing activities of SUNSHINE YANGON and both sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in the renewable energy sector in Nepal.
Furthermore, the Ambassador attended a working dinner along with the CEO and members of SUNSHINE YANGON Company Ltd., and Mr. Shiva Kumar Agrawal, President of the Nepal–Myanmar Chamber of Commerce (NMCCI), and members of NMCCI at Hotel Barahi, Kathamandu, on 18 June 2026 at 1830 hrs. During the working dinner, they cordially exchanged views on matters relating to the further enhancing of trade and investment between Myanmar and Nepal.
