Following the flash floods and landslides that affected Rasuwa District and surrounding areas in northern Nepal on 26 August 2026, Myanmar delegation led by Dr. Than Soe, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement of Myanmar arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on 2 September 2026 by Tatmadaw Y-8 aircraft to provide humanitarian assistance from the Government of Myanmar in the form of USD 500,000 and 8 Metric Tons of Pulses and Beans. The delegation was welcomed at the airport by the Ambassador U Thant Sin and staff of Myanmar Embassy.
The handover ceremony for the humanitarian assistance was subsequently held at 1745 hours and Honourable Mr. Mahabir Pun, Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation of Nepal, Member of Parliament Mr. Dharmaraj K.C. and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal received the assistance on behalf of the Government of Nepal.
At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dr. Than Soe said that the assistance was being provided as humanitarian assistance by the Government and people of Myanmar to support the people of Nepal. He also expressed the hope that the assistance would contribute to further strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and extended his best wishes for the disaster-affected people to recover and return to normal life at earliest possible. Likewise, Honourable Mr. Mahabir Pun expressed his sincere appreciation to the Government and people of Myanmar for the humanitarian assistance and support, and stated that the assistance would be effectively utilized for the benefit of the people affected by the natural disaster. It is learnt that the humanitarian relief items donated by Myanmar will be delivered to areas affected by the floods and landslides for distribution to the disaster-affected communities.

နီပေါနိုင်ငံမြောက်ပိုင်း၊ Rasuwa ခရိုင်နှင့် အနီးတဝိုက်၌ ၂၆-၈-၂၀၂၆ ရက်တွင် ရေကြီးရေလျှံမှုနှင့် မြေပြိုမှု သဘာဝဘေးအန္တရာယ်များ ခံစားခဲ့ရသည့်အတွက် မြန်မာအစိုးရမှ လူသားချင်းစာနာ ထောက်ထားမှုအကူအညီအဖြစ် အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၅ သိန်းနှင့် ပဲမျိုးစုံ ၈ တန်လှူဒါန်းရန် လူမှုဝန်ထမ်း၊ ကယ်ဆယ်ရေးနှင့် ပြန်လည်နေရာချထားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး ဒေါက်တာသန်းစိုး ဦးဆောင်သော မြန်မာကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် ၂-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက်နေ့တွင် တပ်မတော်လေယာဉ်(Y-8) ဖြင့် ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့ရှိ Tribhuvan အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ လေဆိပ်သို့ လာရောက်ခဲ့ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီးနှင့် သံရုံးဝန်ထမ်းများက လေဆိပ်တွင် ကြိုဆိုခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
ထို့နောက် ၁၇၄၅ နာရီတွင် ပစ္စည်းများ လွှဲပြောင်းပေးအပ်သည့်အခမ်းအနားကိုကျင်းပခဲ့ရာ နီပေါ နိုင်ငံ၊ သိပ္ပံ၊နည်းပညာနှင့် တီထွင်ဆန်းသစ်မှုဝန်ကြီးဌာန ဝန်ကြီး Honourable Mr. Mahabir Pun၊ လွှတ်တော်အမတ် Mr. Dharmaraj K.C. နှင့် နီပေါနိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ တာဝန်ရှိသူ များက လက်ခံရယူခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထိုသို့ပေးအပ်ရာတွင် ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး ဒေါက်တာသန်းစိုးက ယခုလှူဒါန်းမှုသည် နီပေါပြည်သူများအပေါ် မြန်မာအစိုးရနှင့် ပြည်သူများ၏ လူသားချင်းစာနာ ထောက်ထားမှုအရ ကူညီထောက်ပံ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊ နှစ်နိုင်ငံချစ်ကြည်ရေးနှင့် ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ တိုးမြှင့်ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည်ဟု မျှော်လင့်ပါကြောင်းနှင့် သဘာဝဘေးသင့် ပြည်သူများ ပုံမှန်ဘဝသို့ အမြန်ဆုံး ပြန်လည်ရောက်ရှိစေရေး ဆုမွန်ကောင်းတောင်းအပ်ပါ ကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့အတူ Honourable Mr. Mahabir Pun က မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရနှင့် ပြည်သူများ၏ လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာ ကူညီပံ့ပိုးမှု အတွက် အထူးကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါကြောင်းနှင့် ထောက်ပံ့မှုများကို သဘာဝဘေးသင့်ပြည်သူ များအတွက် ထိရောက်စွာ အသုံးပြုသွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ ပေးအပ်လှူဒါန်းသည့် လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုပစ္စည်းများကို ရေကြီးရေလျှံမှုနှင့် မြေပြိုမှု သဘာဝဘေးအန္တရာယ်ခံစားခဲ့သည့် နေရာများသို့ ပေးပို့သွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။
