နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမျိုးမြင့်မောင်နှင့် မြန်မာသံရုံးဝန်ထမ်းမိသားစုသည် ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့၊ International Buddhist Meditation Center (IBMC) ၌ ကျင်းပသည့် ဝါဆို သင်္ကန်းကပ်လှူသည့် အခမ်းအနားသို့ တက်ရောက်ပြီး ကျောင်းထိုင်ဆရာတော် ဦးပညာသီရိ အမှူးပြုသည့် သံဃာ နှင့် သီလရှင်များကို ဝါဆိုသင်္ကန်း နှင့် ဝတ္ထုငွေများ ဆက်ကပ်လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

IBMC တရားရိပ်သာကို ၁၉၈၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ရန်ကုန်မြို့ ပဏ္ဍိတာရာမ ရွှေတောင်ကုန်း သာသနာ့ရိပ်သာနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နေသော သာသနာပြု ရိပ်သာဖြစ်ပါသည်။ လက်ရှိ ကျောင်းထိုင်ဆရာတော်အဖြစ် မြန်မာဘုန်းတော်ကြီး အရှင် ပညာသီရိက ဦးဆောင်ဦးရွက်ပြု ဆောင်ရွက်နေခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ IBMC တရားရိပ်သာတွင် လစဉ် တရားစခန်း၊ ဝါတွင်း တရားစခန်း၊ ရဟန်းနှင့် သီလရှင်များအတွက် တရားစခန်း၊ ယဉ်ကျေးလိမ္မာ သင်တန်း၊ တစ်ရက်တာ တရားစခန်း၊ တရားဓမ္မဆွေးနွေးမှု၊ အခြေခံဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာသင်တန်း၊ အဘိဓမ္မာ သင်တန်းများကို ဖွင့်လှစ်ပြီး သာသနာတော်ပြန့်ပွားရေးအတွက် ဆောင်ရွက်နေကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

နီပေါနိုင်ငံတွင် သာသနာတော်ပြန့်ပွားရေးအတွက် ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည့် ရဟန်းသံဃာ၊ သီလရှင်များနှင့် လူပုဂ္ဂိုလ်များအနေဖြင့် ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရမှ ချီးမြှင့်သော သာသနာတော်ဆိုင်ရာ ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ်တော်များကို လျှောက်ထားနိုင်ရန်အတွက် မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့မှ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ပေးလျက်ရှိပါသည်။

Myanmar Ambassador attends Vassa Robe offering ceremony

Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. U Myo Myint Maung and Embassy family attended Vassa Robe Offering Ceremony at International Buddhist Meditation Center in Kathmandu on July 12, 2025. With the presence of the presiding Sayadaw, Venerable Ashin Pannasiri, and the resident Sangha and Nuns, Ambassador and Embassy family offered Vassa Robe and monetary requisites (vattagu).

The IBMC was founded in 1985 and has since served as a center for the propagation of the Buddha’s teachings, and operates in affiliation with the Shwe Taung Gon Sasana Yeiktha of Panditarama  Monastery in Yangon, Myanmar. The center continues its mission of Dhamma dissemination and spiritual development. IBMC regularly hosts a wide range of Dhamma activities, including monthly meditation retreats, the annual rain-retreat(Vassa) meditation programs, monastic and lay meditation training, meditation courses for children, one-day mindfulness retreats, Dhamma talks and discussions, basic Buddhist studies, and Abhidhamma courses.

Myanmar Embassy in Kathmandu facilitates the resident monastics, Bhikkhuni Bihara, and lay individuals actively engaged in Dhamma propagation in Nepal, in the application for honorary religious titles conferred by the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in recognition of meritorious contributions to the spread of Dhamma.
