The ceremony to confer the 2026 religious title of “MAHA SADDHAMMA JOTIKADHAJA” offered by the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Most Venerable Khenpo Chimed Tsering (Dr. Lharkyal Lama) was held at the Ngagyur Palyul Ling Monastery in Kathmandu on 23 May 2026 at 1000 hrs.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, H.E. U Thant Sin, the Ambassador of Myanmar to Nepal, delivered remarks regarding the significance and objectives of the 2026 conferment of religious titles. He also extended his congratulations, and highlighted the importance of further strengthening cooperation between Myanmar and Nepal in the promotion and propagation of the Buddha Sasana. Then, the Ambassador presented “MAHA SADDHAMMA JOTIKADHAJA” title and insignias to the Most Venerable. Subsequently, congratulatory speeches were made respectively by Bhante Ananad, General Secretary of the Maha Bodhi Society, His Eminence Tulku Sherab Sangpo Rinpoche, Dr. Karma Phuntsok, and H.E. Mrs. Ruwanthi Delpitiya, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal. After that, the Most Venerable Khenpo Chimed Tsering (Dr. Lharkyal Lama) expressed his words of appreciation, honor, and gratitude upon receiving the religious title.
The ceremony was attended by over 200 guests, including the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal, the diplomats from the Embassies of India and United States of America, monks from various Buddhist monasteries in Nepal, nuns, officials from the Lumbini Development Trust, staff members from the Embassy of Myanmar, and invited guests.
Most Venerable Khenpo Chimed Tsering served as the Vice Chairman of the Lumbini Development Trust, the organization responsible for overseeing matters related to the sacred Lumbini Garden of Buddha birthplace, which is highly revered by Buddhists around the world. He currently serves as the President of Ngagyur Palyul Ling Monastery and is still actively contributing to the development of Lumbini region and the flourishing and dissemination of the Buddha’s teachings to the world.

နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး က “မဟာသဒ္ဓမ္မဇောတိကဓဇ” ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ်တော်ရရှိတော် မူသော နီပေါနိုင်ငံမှ ပြည်ပဘွဲ့ခံဆရာတော်ထံ ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ်နှင့်အဆောင်အယောင်များ ဆက်ကပ် လှူဒါန်းခြင်း

ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရမှ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်အတွက် သာသနာတော် ဆိုင်ရာ ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ်များ ဆက်ကပ်ချီးမြှင့်အပ်နှင်းရာတွင် “မဟာသဒ္ဓမ္မဇောတိကဓဇ” ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ် တော် ဆက်ကပ်ချီးမြှင့်အပ်နှင်းခဲ့သည့် နီပေါနိုင်ငံမှ ပြည်ပဘွဲ့ခံဆရာတော် Most Venerable Khenpo Chimed Tsering (Dr. Lharkyal Lama) အား ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ်တော်ဆက်ကပ်ခြင်း အခမ်း အနားကို ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ မေလ ၂၃ ရက်၊ ၁၀၀၀ နာရီတွင် နီပေါနိုင်ငံ၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့ရှိ Ngagyur Palyul Ling ကျောင်းတိုက်၌ ကျင်းပပြုုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါအခမ်းအနားတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရကိုယ်စား နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးသန့်စင် က ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ သာသနာတော်ဆိုင်ရာ ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ်တော်များ ဆက်ကပ် ချီးမြှင့်ရခြင်း၏ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်၊ ဝမ်းမြောက်ဂုဏ်ပြုစကားနှင့် မြန်မာနှင့် နီပေါ နှစ်နိုင်ငံအကြား သာသနာတော်ထွန်းကားပြန့်ပွားရေးဆိုင်ရာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုတိုးမြှင့်ရေးကိစ္စရပ်များကို လျှောက်ထားခဲ့ပြီး ဆရာတော်အား ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ်တော်နှင့် အဆောင်အယောင်များ ဆက်ကပ်ခဲ့ ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် Maha Bodhi Society မှ အထွေထွေအတွင်းရေးမှူး ဆရာတော် Bhante Ananad၊ His Eminence Tulku Sherab Sangpo Rinpoche၊ Dr. Karma Phuntsok နှင့် နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ သီရိလင်္ကာသံအမတ်ကြီး Mrs. Ruwanthi Delpitiya တို့က ဝမ်းမြောက် ဂုဏ်ပြုစကားများ ပြောကြားခဲ့ပြီး ဆရာတော် Most Venerable Khenpo Chimed Tsering (Dr. Lharkyal Lama) မှ ဝမ်းမြောက်ဂုဏ်ယူစကားနှင့် ကျေးဇူးတင်စကား ပြန်လည်ပြောကြားခဲ့ ပါသည်။ အခမ်းအနားသို့ နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ သီရိလင်္ကာသံအမတ်ကြီး၊ အိန္ဒိယနှင့် အမေရိကန် နိုင်ငံသံရုံးတို့မှ သံတမန်များ၊ နီပေါနိုင်ငံရှိ ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာ ဘုန်းကြီးကျောင်းများမှ ဆရာတော်ကြီး များ၊ သီလရှင်များ၊ လုမ္ဗိနီဒေသဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးရုံးမှ တာဝန်ရှိပုဂ္ဂိုလ်များ၊ မြန်မာသံရုံးမှ ဝန်ထမ်းများနှင့် ဖိတ်ကြားထားသည့်ဧည့်သည်တော်များ စုစုပေါင်း (၂၀၀) ခန့် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ ကြပါသည်။
ဆရာတော် Most Venerable Khenpo Chimed Tsering (Dr. Lharkyal Lama) သည် ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာဝင်များ အထွတ်အမြတ်ထားရာ လုမ္ဗိနီဗုဒ္ဓဥယျာဉ်နှင့်သက်ဆိုင်သည့်ကိစ္စရပ်များကို ဦးစီး တာဝန်ယူဆောင်ရွက်ရသည့် Lumbini Development Trust အဖွဲ့၏ ဒုတိယဥက္ကဋ္ဌ အဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီး လက်ရှိတွင် Ngagyur Palyul Ling ကျောင်းတိုက် ၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ အဖြစ်ဆောင်ရွက်ကာ လုမ္ဗိနီဒေသဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးနှင့် သာသနာတော်ထွန်းကားပြန့်ပွားရေးအတွက် ဦးစီးဦးဆောင်ပြု ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသူဖြစ်ပါသည်။
