H.E. U Thant Sin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Golam Sarwar, Secretary General of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation at the SAARC Secretariat in Kathmandu on 28 April 2026 at 1200 hrs.

During the discussion, Myanmar Ambassador updated on the recent developments in Myanmar and both sides cordially exchanged views on further enhancement of cooperation between South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and Myanmar, as an observer country to SAARC, in the SAARC’s priority areas of agriculture, rural development, trade, finance, energy and so on.

နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးသန့်စင်သည် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဧပြီလ ၂၈ ရက်နေ့၊ ၁၂၀၀ နာရီအချိန်တွင် တောင်အာရှဒေသပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးအဖွဲ့ (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation – SAARC ) ၏ Secretary General H.E. Mr. Golam Sarwar အား ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့ရှိ SAARC အတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ်ရုံး၌ သွားရောက်တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ပါသည်။
ထိုသို့တွေ့ဆုံစဉ် မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီးက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ပြည်တွင်းဖြစ်ပေါ်တိုးတက်မှုများကို ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအနေဖြင့် တောင်အာရှဒေသပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေး အဖွဲ့(South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation – SAARC) ၏ လေ့လာသူနိုင်ငံ တစ်နိုင်ငံဖြစ်သည်နှင့်အညီ စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊ ကျေးလက်ဒေသဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး၊ ကုန်သွယ်ရေး၊ ဘဏ္ဍာရေးနှင့် စွမ်းအင် စသည့် SAARC ၏ ဦးစားပေးကဏ္ဍများတွင် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်‌ရေး အပေါ် ရင်းနှီးပွင့်လင်းစွာ အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။
