မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ၂၈-၃-၂၀၂၅ ရက်နေ့၊ မြန်မာစံတော်ချိန် ၁၂ နာရီ ၅၁ မိနစ်၊ ၂ စက္ကန့်အချိန်တွင် ပြင်းအား ရစ်ချ်တာစကေး ၇.၇ အဆင့်ရှိသော မန္တလေးငလျင်ကြီးလှုပ်ခတ်ခဲ့မှုကြောင့် ပြည်သူများ၏ အသက်အိုးအိမ် စည်းစိမ်များ ဆုံးရှုံးခဲ့ရပါသည်။
အင်အား ပြင်းထန်ကြီးမားသော မန္တလေးငလျင်ကြီးဒဏ် ခံစားခဲ့ရသည့် မြန်မာပြည်သူများအတွက် ဝမ်းနည်းကြောင်းမှတ်တမ်းစာအုပ်အား နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံသံရုံး၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့တွင် ဖွင့်လှစ်ထားခဲ့ရာ နီပေါနိုင်ငံ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများ၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့ အခြေစိုက် သံရုံးများမှ သံအမတ်ကြီးနှင့် သံတမန်များ၊ နီပေါ-မြန်မာချစ်ကြည်ရေးအသင်း ကိုယ်စားလှယ် များ၊ နီပေါခရစ်ယာန်အသိုက်အဝန်းမှ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များ၊ နီပေါ-မြန်မာ စက်မှုလက်မှုနှင့် ကုန်သည်ကြီးများ အသင်းတို့မှ လာရောက်လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးခဲ့ကြခြင်း၊ ဝမ်းနည်းကြောင်း သံတမန်စာလွှာများ ပေးပို့ခြင်းတို့အပြင် အလှူငွေများလည်း ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
ယင်းသို့ စာနာထောက်ထားပြီး ဝမ်းနည်းကြောင်း ပေးပို့သူများအား မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးက ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါကြောင်း မှတ်တမ်းတင်အပ်ပါသည်။

Opening Book of Condolence for Mandalay Earthquake at Myanmar Embassy in Kathmandu

(Kathmandu, April 24)

On March 28, 2025, a major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 on the Richter scale struck Myanmar at 12:51:01 Myanmar Standard Time. The disaster resulted in significant loss of life and property, causing widespread grief and hardship among the affected population.
In memory of the victims and to express solidarity with those impacted, a condolence book was opened at the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Kathmandu, Nepal, from March 30 to April 10, 2025.
During this period, officials from Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from embassies based in Kathmandu, members of Nepal-Myanmar Friendship Association, representatives from the Nepali Christian community, and delegates from the Nepal-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the Embassy to sign the condolence book.
In addition to the signing of the condolence book and the delivery of formal letters of condolence, many also extended their goodwill through financial contributions in support of humanitarian relief and rehabilitation efforts.
The Embassy of Myanmar in Kathmandu hereby expresses its profound gratitude to all individuals and organizations who conveyed their heartfelt condolence and solidarity during the time of national mourning. The kindness and empathy are deeply appreciated and respectfully acknowledged.
