နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ၊ မြန်မာသံရုံးမှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများသည် ဧပြီလ ၈ ရက်နေ့မှ ၉ ရက်နေ့အထိ နီပေါ နိုင်ငံ၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့၌ ပြုလုပ်သည့် Third BIMSTEC Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture နှင့် Third BIMSTEC Senior Official’s Meeting on Agriculture အစည်းအဝေးများသို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်၊ မတ်လ (၃၀) ရက်နေ့တွင် သီရိလင်္ကာနိုင်ငံ၊ ကိုလံဘိုမြို့၌ အွန်လိုင်းဖြင့် ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည့် (၅) ကြိမ်မြောက် ဘင်းမ်စတက်ထိပ်သီးအစည်းအဝေး ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု နယ်ပယ် (၇) ခုကို ပြင်ဆင်သတ်မှတ်ခဲ့ရာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသည် စိုက်ပျိုးရေးနှင့် စားနပ်ရိက္ခာဖူလုံမှု ရှိစေရေးကဏ္ဍ၏ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု လုပ်ငန်းများတွင် ဦးဆောင်ကဏ္ဍမှ တာဝန်ယူဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပြီး ယင်းတာဝန်ကို နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရ (ကိုယ်စား) စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊ မွေးမြူရေးနှင့် ဆည်မြောင်းဝန်ကြီးဌာနက တာဝန်ယူ ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပြီး ယခုအစည်းအဝေးကို ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဦးမင်းနောင် ဦးစီးသည့် မြန်မာကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့က Virtual စနစ်ဖြင့် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး၊ နီပေါနိုင်ငံရှိ မြန်မာသံရုံး အကြီးအကဲနှင့် ဒုတိယအကြီးအကဲတို့က In-person စနစ်ဖြင့် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
အစည်းအဝေးကို ယင်းကဏ္ဍ၏ ဦးဆောင်နိုင်ငံဖြစ်သည့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၊ အခြား ဘင်းမ်စတက် အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများဖြစ်ကြသည့် ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်၊ ဘူတန်၊ အိန္ဒိယ၊ နီပေါ၊ သီရိလင်္ကာနိုင်ငံ နှင့် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံတို့မှ စိုက်ပျိုးရေးနှင့် မွေးမြူရေးဝန်ကြီးများနှင့် ဘင်းမ်စတက် အတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ်တို့လည်း ပါဝင် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
ဝန်ကြီးများအဆင့် အစည်းအဝေးတွင် နီပေါနိုင်ငံ စိုက်ပျိုးရေးနှင့် မွေးမြူရေးဝန်ကြီး မစ္စတာ ရမ် နတ် အက်ဒီကာရီ က သဘာပတိ အဖြစ်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊ မွေးမြူရေးနှင့် ဆည်မြောင်းဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဦးမင်းနောင်က တွဲဖက်သဘာပတိအဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ ပါသည်။
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသည် ယင်းကဏ္ဍ၏ ဦးဆောင်နိုင်ငံဖြစ်သည်နှင့်အညီ ပထမအကြိမ် ဘင်းမ်စတက် လယ်ယာကဏ္ဍဆိုင်ရာ ကျွမ်းကျင်ပညာရှင်များအစည်းအဝေးကို ၂၀၀၇ ခုနှစ်၊ မတ်လတွင် လည်းကောင်း၊ အစိုးရနှင့် ပုဂ္ဂလိကတို့ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်းဖြင့် လယ်ယာထွက်ကုန်များ၏ တန်ဖိုး များ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်လာစေရေး အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို ၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇူလိုင်လတွင်လည်းကောင်း၊ ပထမ အကြိမ် ဘင်းမ်စတက် စိုက်ပျိုးရေးဆိုင်ရာ အဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိကြီးများ အစည်းအဝေးနှင့် စိုက်ပျိုးရေး ဆိုင်ရာ ဝန်ကြီးများအစည်းအဝေးကို ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇူလိုင်လတွင်လည်းကောင်း အိမ်ရှင်အဖြစ် နေပြည်တော်တွင် လက်ခံကျင်းပပေးခဲ့ပြီး၊ ကိုဗစ်ဖြစ်ပွားစဉ် ကာလတွင် တတိယအကြိမ် စိုက်ပျိုးရေး အလေ့အကျင့်ကောင်းများဆိုင်ရာ အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်၊ နိုဝင်ဘာလတွင်လည်းကောင်း၊ ဘင်းမ်စတက်နိုင်ငံများတွင် စားရေရိက္ခာဖူလုံမှု ရှိစေရေးနှင့် စားရေရိက္ခာစနစ် ရေရှည်တည်တံ့စေရေး ဆိုင်ရာ ဒေသတွင်းဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို ၂၀၁၃ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီလတွင်လည်းကောင်း ပထမအကြိမ် ဘင်းမ်စတက် ငါးလုပ်ငန်းနှင့် မွေးမြူရေးဆိုင်ရာ ကျွမ်းကျင်သူအဖွဲ့အစည်းအဝေးကို ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ မတ်လ တွင် Virtual စနစ်ဖြင့် ဦးစီးကျင်းပခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Myanmar Embassy attend Third BIMSTEC Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture and Third BIMSTEC Senior Official’s Meeting on Agriculture

Myanmar Embassy representatives attended the third BIMSTEC Miniserial Meeting on Agriculture and Third BIMSTEC Senior Official’s Meeting on Agriculture, which was held in Kathmandu, Nepal, on the 8th and 9th of April 2025.
On March 30, 2022, during the virtual 5th BIMSTEC Summit held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, seven areas of cooperation were defined and established. Myanmar has taken the leading role in the agricultural and food security sector and is actively involved in cooperation activities under this sector. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation of Myanmar is taking the responsibility of carrying out this role as the representative of the Government of Myanmar. Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, H.E. U Min Naung joined the meeting virtually and Myanmar Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission from Myanmar Embassy in Nepal attended in person.
The meeting was chaired by H.E. Mr. Ram Nath Adhikari, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development of Nepal, and co-chaired by the Union Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, H.E. U Min Naung. The meeting was attended by the Agriculture and Livestock Ministers of BIMSTEC member states; Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Secret-General of BIMSTEC.
In line with Myanmar’s leadership role in this sector, the first BIMSTEC agricultural sector experts’ meeting was held in March 2007. Additionally, through collaboration between the government and the private sector, a workshop was conducted in July 2018 to enhance the value of agricultural products. The first BIMSTEC senior agricultural officials’ meeting and the agriculture ministers’ meeting were hosted by Myanmar in July 2019 in Naypyidaw. Furthermore, during the COVID-19 pandemic period, the third workshop on best agricultural practices was held in November 2021. A regional discussion on food security and sustainable food systems among BIMSTEC countries was also held in January 2013. Finally, in March 2024, Myanmar hosted the first BIMSTEC Fisheries and Livestock Expert Group meeting virtually.
