နီပေါနိုင်ငံ၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့ရှိ၊ Dharma Kirti Vihar ကျောင်းတိုက်တွင် သီတင်းသုံးနေသည့် မြန်မာ နိုင်ငံတွင် သမီးချစ်သီလရှင်ဆရာကြီးအဖြစ် ထင်ရှားသည့် မဟာသမ္ဓမ္မဇောတိကဓဇ ဒေါ်သုဓမ္မဝတီ၏ သက်တော် (၉၂) နှစ်ပြည့် မွေးနေ့မင်္ဂလာ အခမ်းအနားသို့ နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမျိုးမြင့်မောင် နှင့် သံရုံးမိသားစုများ တက်ရောက်ပူဇော်ကြည်ညို ခဲ့ပါသည်။
သက်တော် (၉၂) နှစ်ပြည့် မွေးနေ့ပူဇာအခမ်းအနားသို့ နီပေါနိုင်ငံတွင် သတင်းသုံးနေသည့် မြန်မာဘုန်းတော်ကြီး၊ သီလရှင်များ၊ နီပေါ ဘုန်းတော်ကြီး နှင့် သီလရှင်များ၊ ဧည့်ပရိသတ် စုစုပေါင်း (၂၅၀) ဦး ခန့်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ မွေးနေ့ အထိမ်းအမှတ်အဖြစ် ဘုန်းတော်ကြီးများက ရှစ်ပါးသီလ ခံယူခြင်း၊ တရားဓမ္မများ မြွက်ကြားဟောပြောခြင်းတို့ကို ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
သီလရှင်ဆရာကြီး သမီးချစ်သည် ဘဝတာ တစ်လျှောက်လုံး ထေရဝါဒ ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာ တိုးတက်စည်ပင် ထွန်းကားပြန့်ပွားရေးကို တစ်စိုက်မတ်မတ် ကြိုးပမ်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှုများကြောင့် နိုင်ငံတကာမှ ဂုဏ်ထူးဆောင် သာသနာရေးဆိုင်ရာ ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ်များ ဆက်ကပ်ခဲ့ကြပြီး ၎င်းတို့အနက် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရက ၁၉၉၂ ခုနှစ်တွင် အဂ္ဂမဟာဂန္တဝါစက ပဏ္ဍိတဘွဲ့တော်ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ နီပေါနိုင်ငံအစိုးရက ၁၉၉၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် Jnanmala Ratnavata Sirpaa ကို လည်းကောင်း၊ နီပေါနိုင်ငံ Lumbini Buddhist University မှ ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်တွင် ဂုဏ်ထူးဆောင် စာပေ ပါရဂူဘွဲ့ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရက မဟာသဒ္ဓမ္မဇောတိကဓဇဘွဲ့ တံဆိပ်တော်ကိုလည်းကောင်း အသီးသီးချီးမြှင့်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
သီလရှင်ဆရာကြီးသည် နီပေါနိုင်ငံတွင် သာမက ပြည်ပနိုင်ငံများဖြစ်သော မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အပါအဝင် ထိုင်း၊ အိန္ဒိယ၊ ဂျပန်၊ တရုတ်၊ ကမ္ဘောဒီးယား၊ အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စု၊ သီရိလင်္ကာ စသည့် နိုင်ငံများသို့လည်း သွားရောက်ပြီး ထေရဝါဒ ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာ သာသနာပြုလုပ်ငန်းများကို သက်ဆိုင်ရာ နိုင်ငံများ၏ ဘာသာရေးအဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် တက်ကြွစွာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နေသူဖြစ်ပါသည်။

Myanmar Ambassador attends the auspicious 92nd Birthday Observance of the Venerable Nun Daw Thudhammawati (aka) Thameechit

Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. U Myo Myint Maung and Embassy family attended the auspicious 92nd Birthday Observance of the Venerable Nun, Daw Thudhammawati, the presiding nun of Dharma Kirti Vihar Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal, on July 5, 2025.
The ceremony was attended by an estimated 250 participants, which included revered Myanmar Buddhist monks and nuns residing in Nepal, Nepalese members of the Sangha, and devoted laypersons. In honor of the auspicious occasion, the venerable monks observed the Eight Percepts (Uposatha Sila) and shared profound Dhamma discourses.
Daw Thudhammawati, now aged 92, has dedicated her life to the spread and development of Theravada Buddhism. For her tireless efforts, she has received various international renowned honors, including the Agga Maha Gandawasa Pandiṭa title from the Myanmar government in 1992, the Jnanmala Ratnavata Sirpaa award from the Nepal government in 1995, the Honorary Doctor of Philosophy from the Lumbini Buddhist University of Nepal in 2024, and the prestigious title of “Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja” from the Myanmar government in 2025.
She has worked with religious organizations in various countries, including Myanmar, Thailand, India, Japan, China, Cambodia, the United States, Sri Lanka, and others. Daw Thudhammawati actively collaborating with these countries to promote Theravada Buddhism and religious work.
