နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမျိုးမြင့်မောင်သည် ၂၀-၈-၂၀၂၅ ရက်နေ့၊ မွန်းလွဲပိုင်းတွင် ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့သို့ အစည်းအဝေးတက်ရောက်ရန် ရောက်ရှိနေသည့် ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် ဒေါက်တာသောင်းနိုင်ဦး ဦးဆောင်သည့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့နှင့်အတူ ICIMOD (International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development) ၏ ဖိတ်ကြားချက် အရ ၎င်းရုံးချုပ်သို့ သွားရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
ICIMOD ရုံးချုပ်တွင် သံအမတ်ကြီး၊ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် နှင့် အဖွဲ့သည် ICIMOD ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် Dr. Pema Gyamtsho၊ ဒုတိယညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် Ms. Izabella Koziell၊ ဌာန အလိုက် ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးများနှင့် တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၌ ICIMOD အနေဖြင့် ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မှုအလားအလာများနှင့် အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည့် အခြေအနေ များကို ရင်းနှီးပွင့်လင်းစွာဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြရာ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ်၊ ဒေါက်တာသောင်းနိုင်ဦးက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် လက်ရှိ ဆောင်ရွက်နေမှုများကို အကျယ်တဝင့်ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပြီး ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည့် နယ်ပယ် နှင့် လိုအပ်ချက်များကို ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
သံအမတ်ကြီးက နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရက လုပ်ဆောင်လျက်ရှိသည့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ လက်ရှိအခြေ အနေများကို ပြောကြားပြီး၊ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၂၈ ရက်နေ့တွင် အထွေထွေ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲ ကျင်းပမည်ဖြစ်ကာ၊ ICIMOD အနေဖြင့် ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည့် အခြေအနေများကို ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
မြန်မာကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် နီပေါနိုင်ငံ၊ ကတ္တမန္ဓူးမြို့တွင် ဩဂုတ်လ ၁၈-၁၉ ရက်နေ့အထိ ပြုလုပ်သည့် Hindu Kush Himalaya Parliamentarians’ Meet အစီအစဉ်ကို တက်ရောက်ရန် ရောက်ရှိ ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး၊ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီးသည်လည်း အဆိုပါ အစည်းအဝေးသို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါ သည်။

Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal and Delegation visit ICIMOD Headquarters

On August 20, 2025, in the afternoon, Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Mr. Myo Myint Maung, visited the headquarters of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in Kathmandu. The visit was made at the invitation of ICIMOD and was part of Ambassador’s engagements while the Myanmar delegation led by Dr. Thaung Naing Oo, Director General of Forestry Department of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, was in Nepal to attend official meeting.
At the ICIMOD headquarters, the Myanmar Ambassador and Director General, held discussions with ICIMOD Director General Dr. Pema Gyamtsho, Deputy Director General Ms. Izabella Koziell, and other departmental directors. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between Myanmar and ICIMOD, with an open and constructive dialogue on current and potential areas of cooperation. Dr. Thaung Naing Oo also provided a comprehensive overview on Myanmar’s ongoing activities regarding the relevant sectors and discussed areas of cooperation and specific needs where collaboration could be further enhanced.
The Ambassador shared updates on the latest developments in Myanmar, including the preparations for the upcoming general election scheduled for December 28, 2025. Ambassador also highlighted potential areas of collaboration with ICIMOD.
Myanmar delegation was in Kathmandu to participate in the Hindu Kush Himalaya Parliamentarians’ Meet, held from August 18 to 19, and the Myanmar Ambassador also attended this important regional event.
