နီပေါနိုင်ငံ၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့ရှိ မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ နီပေါ-မြန်မာချစ်ကြည်ရေးအသင်းနှင့် နီပေါ-မြန်မာအသိုက်အဝန်းမှ ပုဂ္ဂိုလ်များသည် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ မတ်လ ၂၈ ရက်နေ့၌ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် လှုပ်ခတ်ခဲ့သည့် မန္တလေးငလျင်ကြီးကြောင့် သေဆုံးခဲ့သူများ၊ ထိခိုက်ခံစားခဲ့ရသူများ နှင့် ပြန်လည်ထူထောင်ရေး လုပ်ဆောင်နေမှုများအတွက် သီလရှင်ဆရာကြီး ဒေါ်ဓမ္မဝတီ (သမီးချစ်) သတင်းသုံးရာ Dharmakirti Vihar ကျောင်းတိုက်တွင် ဆုတောင်းမေတ္တာပို့သခဲ့ပြီး အန္တရာယ်ကင်း ပရိတ်များ ရွတ်ဖတ်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
အခမ်းအနားကို မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမျိုးမြင့်မောင်၊ သံရုံးဝန်ထမ်းမိသားစုများ၊ နီပေါ-မြန်မာချစ်ကြည်ရေးအသင်း ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ Mr. Shankar Gimirak နှင့် အဖွဲ့ဝင်များ၊ နီပေါ-မြန်မာ ချစ်ကြည်ရေးကောင်စီ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌဟောင်း နှင့် အဖွဲ့ဝင်များ နှင့် ဧည့်ပရိတ်သတ်များ တက်ရောက်ကြပါသည်။
အခမ်းအနားတွင် သီလရှင်ဆရာကြီး ဒေါ်သုဓမ္မဝတီက မန္တလေးငလျင်ကြီးတွင် ထိခိုက် သေဆုံးရမှုများ အတွက် မေတ္တာပို့သ အမျှပေးဝေခြင်း၊ ထိခိုက်ဒဏ်ရာရရှိသူများ အမြန်သက်သာပျောက်ကင်းစေရန် ဆုတောင်းမေတ္တာပို့သခြင်း၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် နိုင်ငံသူနိုင်ငံသားများအားလုံး မူလအခြေအနေသို့ ပြန်လည်ရောက်ရှိရန် တောင်းဆုပြုခြင်းတို့ကို ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပြီး အန္တရာယ်ကင်းပရိတ် များကို ရွတ်ဖတ်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
အခမ်းအနားအပြီးတွင် သံအမတ်ကြီးနှင့် တက်ရောက်လာသူများသည် သီလရှင်ဆရာကြီး ဒေါ်သုဓမ္မဝတီနှင့် သီလရှင်ဆရာလေးများကို လှူဖွယ်ပစ္စည်းများ ဆက်ကပ်လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ သီလရှင်ဆရာကြီး ဒေါ်သုဓမ္မဝတီနှင့် နီပေါပြည်သူ အသိုက်အဝန်းများသည် မန္တလေးငလျင်ကြီးကြောင့် ပျက်စီးခဲ့ရသည့် စစ်ကိုင်းတိုင်းရှိ သီတဂူဗုဒ္ဓတက္ကသိုလ် နှင့် စစ်ကိုင်းတောင်ရိုးရှိ သာသနိက အဆောက် အဦများ ပြန်လည်တည်ဆောက်နိုင်ရေးနှင့်၊ ပြန်လည်ထူထောင်ရေး လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များအတွက် ဧပြီလ ၂၁ ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် သာသနာတော်ဘွဲ့တံဆိပ် ဆက်ကပ်သည့် အခမ်းအနား၌ နီပေါရူပီး (၂၅) သိန်း နှင့် အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ (၃,၀၀၀)၊ သီလရှင်များအတွက် သီလရှင်ဝတ်စုံများကို လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ လှူဒါန်းငွေများနှင့် ပစ္စည်းများကို ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၊ နိုင်ငံခြားရေး ဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ တစ်ဆင့် လှူဒါန်းသွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

Myanmar Embassy and Nepal-Myanmar Friendship Association hold merit-sharing and prayer ceremony for victims of the Mandalay earthquake

(Kathmandu, April 26)

The Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Nepal-Myanmar Friendship Association and members of the Nepal-Myanmar community, organized a merit-sharing and prayer ceremony for those who lost their lives and injured in the devastating Mandalay Earthquake in Myanmar. The ceremony was held at Dharmakirti Vihar Temple under the guidance of Daw Thudhammawati (Thamee Chit), the presiding nun of the Vihar, during which protective discourses (paritta) were chanted and compassionate prayers were offered.
Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. U Myo Myint Maung, along with embassy staff and their families; Mr. Shankar Gimirak, President of the Nepal-Myanmar Friendship Association and its members; former President and members of the Nepal-Myanmar Friendship Council; and invited guests from the local community attended the ceremony.
During the ceremony, Daw Thudhammawati delivered compassionate messages and dedicated merits to those who perished in the earthquake. Prayers were offered for the speedy recovery of the injured and for the restoration of peace and normalcy for all citizens of Myanmar. The attendees recited paritta chants for protection and well-being.
Following the ceremony, the Ambassador and the attendees presented alms and requisites to Daw Thudhammawati and resident nuns. Daw Thudhammawati and members of Nepalese devotees generously contributed to the reconstruction of religious and educational buildings in Sagaing that were damaged by the earthquake, Sitagu Buddhist International University and manastic buildings in Sagaing Region.
On the occasion of the “MAHASADDHAMMAJOTIKADHAJA” Religious Title Conferring to Daw Thudhammawati on April 21, the Nepalese community organized by Daw Thudhammawati, donated NPR 2.5 million and USD 3,000, and robes for nuns to support recovery efforts of the earthquake. These contributions will be conveyed to the respective recipients through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar.
