သီတဂူဆရာတော်ကြီးသည် ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၂၇ ရက်တွင် နီပေါနိုင်ငံ၊ ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့သို့ ရောက်ရှိလာခဲ့ရာ World Peace Temple ကျောင်း ၊ Dharma Kirti Vihar သီလရှင်ကျောင်းတို့မှ သံဃာတော် များနှင့် သီလရှင်များ၊ နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီးနှင့် သံရုံးဝန်ထမ်းမိသားစုများကလည်းကောင်း၊ နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၂၉ ရက်တွင် နီပေါနိုင်ငံ၊ လုမ္ဗိနီမြို့သို့ ရောက်ရှိစဉ် လုမ္ဗိနီဥယျာဉ် Lumbini Development Trust မှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများ၊ လုမ္ဗိနီဒေသအုပ်ချုပ်ရေးမှူးများ၊ မြန်မာရွှေကျောင်းတော်ကြီးမှ သာသနာပြုဆရာတော် (၂)ပါးနှင့် သာသနာရေးနှင့် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ သာသနာရေးအရာရှိတို့က ခရီးဦးကြိုပြုခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
သီတဂူဆရာတော်ကြီးသည် ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့ရှိ World Peace Temple ကျောင်းတွင် သီတင်းသုံးနေသည့် သံဃာတော်များအတွက် သင်္ဃန်းအစုံ (၁၀၀) လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ပြီး ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့အတွင်း ထင်ရှားသည့် Swayambu Temple သို့ သွားရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၂၉ ရက်တွင် နီပေါနိုင်ငံ၊ လုမ္ဗိနီဥယျာဉ်ရှိ Lumbini Buddhist University တွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် 3rd Convocation of Lumbini Buddhist University and 20th University Day အခမ်းအနားသို့ နီပေါနိုင်ငံ ဝန်ကြီးချုပ်နှင့်အတူ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ လုမ္ဗိနီတွင် သီတင်းသုံးနေစဉ် ကာလအတွင်း လုမ္ဗိနီဥယျာဉ်အတွင်း မယ်တော်မာယာကျောင်းဝင်းအတွင်းသို့ သွားရောက်ခြင်း၊ မြန်မာအစိုးရနှင့် စေတနာရှင် ပြည်သူများ လှူဒါန်း တည်ထားကိုးကွယ်သည့် မြန်မာရွှေကျောင်းတော်သို့ သွားရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာရွှေကျောင်း ပရိဝုဏ်အတွင်းတွင် ရွှေတိဂုံစေတီတော်ပုံတူ တည်ထားကိုးကွယ်သည့် လောကမဏိစူဠာစေတီတော်ကို သွားရောက်ဖူးမြှော်ကာ စေတီတော်ဝင်းအတွင်း ဆရာတော်ကြီးနှင့် ဒါယိကာ၊ ဒါယိကာမများက လှူဒါန်းတည်ဆောက်ထားသည့် အာသောကကျောက်စာတိုင်များ ချို့ယွင်းနေမှုများအပေါ် ပြင်ဆင်ရန် ကိစ္စရပ်များနှင့် စေတီတော်ကြီးနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ ဆက်လက်ဆောင်ရွက်ရန်ရှိသည်များ၊ မြန်မာရွှေကျောင်းတော်ကြီးအတွင်းရှိ သာသနိက အဆောက်အဦများ အရှည်တည်တံ့ရေးနှင့် ဘုရားဖူးလာပြည်သူများ အဆင်ပြေစွာ တည်းခိုနိုင်ရေးကိစ္စရပ်များ စီစဉ်ထားရှိမှုများနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ တင်ပြမှုများအပေါ် လိုအပ်သည်များကို သံအမတ်ကြီးနှင့် ဆွေးနွေးပြီး အကြံပြုမှာကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
လောကမဏိစူဠာစေတီတော်သည် ၁၉၉၅ ခုနှစ်၊ မေလတွင် နီပေါနိုင်ငံ၊ လုမ္ဗိနီဥယျာဉ်၌ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ပထမဆုံး သာသနိက အဆောက်အဦအလှူအဖြစ် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရနှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသူ၊ နိုင်ငံသားများ၏ လှူဒါန်းမှုဖြင့် စတင်တည်ထားကိုးကွယ်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး ရွှေတိဂုံစေတီတော်ပုံတူ၊ ဉာဏ်တော် (၇၂)ပေရှိသည့် စေတီတော်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
လုမ္ဗိနီတွင် သီတင်းသုံးနေစဉ်အတွင်း သီတဂူဆရာတော်ကြီးသည် နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာ သံအမတ်ကြီးနှင့် တာဝန်ရှိသူများ လိုက်ပါလျက် Thousands of Buddha Temple တိဗက်ဘုန်းတော်ကြီး ကျောင်းသို့ ပင့်ဖိတ်မှုအရ သွားရောက်ခဲ့ရာ Thousands of Buddha Temple တိဗက်ကျောင်းထိုင်ဆရာတော်၊ ရဟန်းသံဃာများနှင့် သီလရှင်များ၊ ဒါယိကာ၊ ဒါယိကာမများက လှိုက်လှိုက်လှဲလှဲ ကြိုဆိုခဲ့ကြပြီး သီတဂူ ဆရာတော်ကြီးက ဓမ္မမိတ်ဆွေများအား ဝိပဿနာတရားတော်များ ဟောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ဆက်လက်၍ သီတဂူ ဆရာတော်ကြီးသည် Lumbini Buddhist University ၌ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးဆွေးနွေးပွဲ (International Seminar on Exploring Gautam Buddha’s Teachings on Peacekeeping and Sustainable Development) သို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး၏ အရေးကြီးပုံ၊ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးသည် တစ်ကမ္ဘာလုံးအတွက်အရေးကြီးသလို လူတစ်ဦးချင်းစီအတွက်ကလည်း ပိုမိုအရေးပါကြောင်း ထည့်သွင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
မြန်မာသံရုံး ဝန်ထမ်းများနှင့် မိသားစုများက ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၁ ရက်နေ့တွင် သီတဂူဆရာတော်ကြီးနှင့် ဂုဏ်ထူးဆောင်စာပေပါရဂူဘွဲ့ရရှိသူ သီလရှင်ဆရာကြီး ဒေါ်ဓမ္မဝတီ (ခေါ်) သမီးချစ်တို့အား Dharma Kirti Vihar ကျောင်း၌ နေ့ဆွမ်းဆက်ကပ်လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ ပြန်လည်ထွက်ခွာရာတွင် သံအမတ်ကြီးနှင့် သံရုံး ဝန်ထမ်းများက လိုက်ပါပို့ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Sidagu Chancellor attends the International Seminar on Exploring Gautam Buddha’s Teachings on Peacekeeping and Sustainable Development and visits religious sites including Myanmar Golden Temple in Lumbini Sacred Garden

The Most Venerable State Ovadacariya Sangha Raja of Shwekyin Nikaya Buddhist Order, the Chancellor of the Sitagu International Buddhist Academies, Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Sitagu Sayadaw Dr. Nyanissara, visited Nepal as a distinguished guest of the Right Hon’ble K.P. Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of the Government of Nepal. Throughout his visit, Ambassador and staff of the Myanmar Embassy in Kathmandu accompanied him while coordinating between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
On November 27, 2024, the Sitagu Sayadaw arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal. He was welcomed by monks and nuns from the World Peace Temple and Dharma Kirti Vihar, as well as the Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal and embassy staff and their families. On November 29, during his visit to Lumbini, he was received by officials from the Lumbini Development Trust, local administrators, two monks from the Myanmar Golden Temple, and religious officers from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.
At the World Peace Temple in Kathmandu, the Sitagu Sayadaw donated 100 sets of monk robes to the resident monks. He also visited the famous Swayambu Temple in Kathmandu.
On 29 November 2024, the Sayadaw attended the 3rd Convocation of Lumbini Buddhist University and the 20th University Day held at Lumbini Garden with the Prime Minister of the Government of Nepal. Whilst in Lumbini, he visited the Myanmar Golden Temple, built through donations from the Myanmar government and the people of Myanmar. Within the temple complex, he paid homage to the replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda, known as the Lokamani Cula Pagoda, and inspected the Asoka pillar replicas donated by patrons, addressing their maintenance needs. He also gave some suggestion on further improvements to the temple and its surroundings. Recommendations were presented regarding the preservation of the monastic buildings within the Myanmar Golden Monastery, as well as ensuring convenient accommodations for pilgrims. The Sitagu Sayadaw discussed with the Ambassador and suggested about the renovation of religious buildings at the Myanmar Golden Temple and accommodations for pilgrims upon the presenting documents.
The Myanmar Golden Temple in Lumbini, Myanmar’s first religious structure in Nepal, features the Lokamani Cula Pagoda, a 72-foot replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda. It was established in May 1995 through the generosity of the Myanmar government and its people.
While staying in Lumbini, the Sitagu Sayadaw visited the “Maya Devi Temple” , the “Thousands of Buddha Temple”, accompanied by the Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal and other officials. He was invited by the Most Venerable of Tibetan, monks, nuns, and devotees, who warmly welcomed him. During his visit, the Sayadaw delivered Vipassana teachings to the audience. Later, he attended the “International Seminar on Exploring Gautam Buddha’s Teachings on Peacekeeping and Sustainable Development” at Lumbini Buddhist University. In his speech, he emphasized on the importance of peace, noting that peace is crucial not only for the whole world but also for individuals.
On 1 December 2024, the Sayadaw and the Most Venerable Nepalese Nun Dhammawati also known as Thamee Chit who was conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Literature, received offerings from the staff of the Myanmar Embassy and their families at the Dharma Kirti Vihar. On the same day, Sidagu Sayardawgyi was seen off by the Myanmar Ambassador and the Embassy Staff at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
