နီပေါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ၊ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမျိုးမြင့်မောင်သည် မေလ ၁၆ ရက်နေ့၊ နံနက်ပိုင်းတွင် ကတ္တမန္ဒူးမြို့၌ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သည့် Sagarmatha Sambaad (Mt. Everest Summit) ထိပ်သီးဆွေးနွေးပွဲ၏ ဖွင့်ပွဲအခမ်းအနားကို တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါအခမ်းအနားကို “ရာသီဥတုပြောင်းလဲမှု၊ တောင်တန်းများနှင့် လူသားမျိုးနွယ်၏ အနာဂတ်” (Climate Change, Mountain and the Future Humanity) ခေါင်းစဉ်ဖြင့် မေလ ၁၆ ရက်နေ့မှ ၁၈ ရက်နေ့အထိ ကျင်းပခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။
ဖွင့်ပွဲအခမ်းအနား၌ ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် ကေပီရှာမာ အိုလီ၊ နီပေါနိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီး ဒေါက်တာ အာဇူရာနာ ဒယ်ဘ နှင့် ပြည်ပနိုင်ငံ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များဖြစ်သည့် တရုတ်ပြည်သူ့သမ္မတနိုင်ငံ၊ တရုတ် အမျိုးသား ပြည်သူ့ ကွန်ဂရက် ဦးဆောင်ကော်မတီ၊ ဒုတိယဥက္ကဋ္ဌ H.E. Mr. Xiao Jie၊ အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ၊ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်၊ သစ်တောနှင့် ရာသီဥတုပြောင်းလဲမှုဆိုင်ရာ ဝန်ကြီး H.E. Shri Bhupender Yadav နှင့် ရာသီဥတု ပြောင်းလဲမှုဆိုင်ရာ အဇာဘိုင်ဂျန်နိုင်ငံ သမ္မတ၏ ကိုယ်စားလှယ် H.E. Mukhtar Babayev၊ တို့က အသီးသီး အမှာစကားပြောကြားခဲ့ကြပြီး၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂအထွေထွေအတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ်၊ H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres က Video Message ပေးပို့ခဲ့ပါသည်။
ဆွေးနွေးပွဲသို့ လွှတ်တော်ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များ၊ အစိုးရအဖွဲ့ဝင်များနှင့် ရာသီဥတုဆိုင်ရာ ကျွမ်းကျင်သူများ ပါဝင်သည့် ပြည်တွင်းပြည်ပမှ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်ပေါင်း (၃၅၀) ကျော် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြ ပါသည်။

Myanmar Ambassador attends the Opening Ceremony of “Sagarmatha Sambaad”

Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. U Myo Myint Maung, attends the Opening Ceremony of Sagarmatha Sambaad Summit on the morning of May 16 in Kathmandu.
The Summit was held from 16 to 18 May 2025, under the theme “Climate Change: Mountains and the Future of Humanity”.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished leaders and dignitaries. Keynotes addresses were delivered by Rt. Honorable. Mr. K.P. Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, and Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal. Leaders of foreign delegation: H.E. Mr. Xiao Jie, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC), People’s Republic of China, H.E. Shri Bhupender Yadav, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, India, H.E. Mr. Mukhtar Babayev, Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Climate Issues.
In addition, a special video message was delivered by H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations.
The Summit brought together over 350 delegates, from both national and international institutions, including parliamentarians, ministers, and leading experts in the field of climate change.
