ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီးချုပ်နှင့် နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဦးသန်းဆွေ က အမေရိကန် နိုင်ငံ၊ နယူးယောက်မြို့ရှိ ကုလသမဂ္ဂကလေးများရန်ပုံငွေအဖွဲ့ (UNICEF) ရုံးချုပ်မှ ဒုတိယအမှုဆောင် ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူး Mr. Edward Chaker Chaiban ဦးဆောင် သောကိုယ်စားလှယ် အဖွဲ့အား ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၁၂ ရက်၊ ၁၀၃၀ နာရီတွင် နေပြည်တော်ရှိ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၌ လက်ခံ တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့သည်။
ထိုသို့ တွေ့ဆုံစဉ် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအစိုးရနှင့် UNICEF တို့အကြား လက်ရှိ ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည့် ကိစ္စရပ်များနှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၌ UNICEF ၏ ရှေ့ဆက်ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် ကိစ္စရပ်များအပေါ် အမြင်ချင်း ဖလှယ်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။
အစည်းအဝေးသို့ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ အဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိကြီးများ၊ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံ၊ ဗန်ကောက်မြို့ရှိ UNICEF ၏ အရှေ့အာရှနှင့် ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသခွဲရုံးမှ ဒေသဆိုင်ရာ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးနှင့် UNICEF ၏ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာဌာနေကိုယ်စားလှယ်တို့ ပါဝင် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြသည်။

U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received the delegation led by Mr. Edward Chaker Chaiban, Deputy Executive Director, Humanitarian Action and Supply Operations, UNICEF Headquarters (New York) at 1030 hours on 12 November 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they discussed and exchanged views on the matters relating to the existing cooperation between the Government of Myanmar and UNICEF, and future programmes of UNICEF in Myanmar.
Also present at the meeting were the senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Director of UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office and Representative of UNICEF to Myanmar.
